The Maternal Child Health Division of the Bethlehem Health Bureau offers programs to mothers, children and families that commit to improving prenatal health, as well as infant/child health through home visiting, providing referrals and insuring that families have the resources they need for their children. We strive to educate families on parenting skills as well as educate to prevent illness or injury to pregnant women and children. We strongly support breastfeeding as we aid women in the community in gaining support for their decision to breastfeed. Our efforts promote the physical, social and emotional health status of mothers, infants, children and families in the community of Bethlehem.
