How To Get An H1N1 Flu Shot
Given the recent expansion regarding who should receive the
vaccine, the Bethlehem Health Bureau is now able to provide
H1N1 vaccine to any person who wants it. As it has since the
vaccine first debuted, the bureau continues to urge members
of priority groups to be vaccinated against H1N1. They include
pregnant women; persons six months to 24 years old; healthcare
providers and emergency medical services personnel; parents,
household members and caregivers of children under six months;
and those under 65 years with certain underlying medical conditions.
The Bethlehem Health Bureau is now accepting appointments
for those who would like to receive the H1N1 vaccine, seasonal
flu vaccine, or both. There is no charge for either vaccine
and no residency requirements. For both H1N1 and seasonal
flu, injectable vaccine is available, as is a limited quantity
of intranasal vaccine.
Appointments can be made by calling the Bethlehem Health
Bureau (610) 865-7087.
